PBSDrive Live 2015 is taking over the airwaves for a full week from Monday February 2nd to Friday the 6th. They’ve compiled a stellar selections of acts for some live in-studio performances – Ben Frost, Complete, Vacuum, Love of Diagrams, The Galaxy Folk, The Ocean Party, Black Cab, GL, Lowtide, Ausmuteants, Kim & Leanne, Power, Primitive Calculators, Time for Dreams and Habits.

Tash Sultana has locked in booking deal with 123 Agency roster.

Ali Barter has signed to Native Tongue Music Publishing.

The Coopers Australian Music Prize have announced the shortlist of albums for 2015. The nine shortlisted include #1 Dads, Chet Faker and REMI.

Jakubi have signed to Create/Control, the band’s EP Holiday is out today.

1200 TECHNIQUES‘ new EP Time Has Come is out today. The band will be performing a free show at The Vineyard on Australia Day.

Bowled Over returns to this year at the St Kilda Bowls Club this Australia Day with performances from Remi, Bad//Dreems and Twinsy.

The Espy play host to a massive Australia Day party, they’ve got Last Dinosaurs, japanese wallpaper, Lurch & Chief, Orphans Orphans, The Harpoons and more. Entry is free and it kicks off at 11am.

Decibels Records are throwing a free outdoor party on Australia Day for you to listen to the Hottest 100 countdown. It’s happening at the Northcote Town Hall from 12pm.

Multi-instrumentalist and composer based Anna Morley is currently based in Berlin. She’s heading back to Melbourne this month to play at The Grace Darling Hotel on January 28th with support from Amber Isles and Frieda Le Bjor.

Lupine‘s final residency night at the Evelyn is next Wednesday 28th, joining them will be James Moloney & the Mad Dog Harrisons and Oscar Bublè and the Butterboys.

‘Fossil / Human’, a collaborative exhibition by The Dreamer and His Pillow and artist Bonnie Eichelberger. The exhibition will feature illustrative hand letterpressed prints accompanied by a two part explorative musical soundscape, released on cassette tape and performed live at the opening night on Thursday January 29th. Held at The Hungry Workshop from 6-9pm with a live performance from 7pm.

Rita Satch has announced a Melbourne show on Friday 30th January at Bennetts Lane Jazz Club.

Passerine have released a new single ‘Set Me Alight’, check out the new clip video. The band launch it at Revolver on Friday February 13th.

I, a Man have put the band on hold for the foreseeable future. They’re playing one last show on February 21st at Hugs&Kisses.

Ainslie Wills will soon release a new single entitled ‘Drive’, but in the meantime she’s announced a launch show at the Toff in Town on Thursday February 26th.

Jim Lawrie‘s new single ‘Good Old Days’ is lifted from his sophomore album Eons, out Friday 20th February 2015 via Barely Dressed/Remote Control Records. He’ll launch the album at Shebeen on Saturday February 28th.

Client Liaison have announced the Pretty Lovers Tour, they’ll play Melbourne on Friday 20th March at 170 Russell.

Marlon Williams is taking his show on the road for his own headline shows in support of the Dark Child single. He plays The Gasometer on Thursday April 9th.
