Tim Rogers, The Temper Trap and Paul Kelly have been announced to play this year’s AFL Grand Final.

Speaking of Paul Kelly, he will perform alongside Dan Kelly at AIR’s Jagermeister Independent Music Awards. Joining the likes of  The Bamboos (featuring Tim Rogers),  HermitudeLanie LaneLoon Lake and House Vs Hurricane.  Tuesday October 16th at Revolt, Kensington.

Henry Wagons is set to release his first solo album on Friday September 28th. He’ll also be heading out on an east coast tour. Details here.

The Qantas Spirit of Youth Award for music was awarded to Sydney’s Caitlin Park, a massive congratulations to runner ups Hayden Calnin and Courtney Barnett.

City Calm Down have just signed to indie label, I OH YOU. The band are launching their next EP, ‘Movements’ on Nov 2.

The Tiger & Me have signed to ABC Music’s imprint FOUR | FOUR for the release of their second album.

Key of Sea Volume 2 is out this October.  The Key of Sea ‘brings together Australia’s finest established artists and musicians who have brought their musical heritage from across the oceans seeking a better life in this nation.’ Volume two features Melbourne musicians such as Paul Kelly, The Tiger & Me, Chet Faker, and Dick Diver.
