going from strength to strength. Both as a live band and in their song writing, the 6-piece are getting so consistent it’s starting to hurt. Tracks such as ‘Little Kid’ and ‘Making It Hard’ are absolute standouts live, with lead singer Eddie Alexander really taking command. What seems to really work with Love Migrate in a live setting is that although Eddie has such a charismatic stage presence, it never seems to dominate. This speaks volumes not only to the musicianship of the whole band but also the connectivity they all have with each other.

Also throwing in some brand new songs that aren’t on their debut album (out October 12) not on the album, I think these guys have got the next couple of years sorted. The highlight of the set was definitely the closer, ‘I Want You To Mend’, a track that truely showcases what this band are about. Eddie’s almost yelled vocals show that there’s a heap more to this band than a nice indie pop track.
